1: Right-click on the desktop, select New > Shortcut.
2: Type the following location and then click Next.
3: Add the shortcut name like Recycle Bin and click Finish.
4: To change the recycle bin icon, right-click on it and select Show more options.
5: Choose Properties.
6: Select Change Icon.
7: Type the below mentioned line in the Look for icons in this file field and press Enter.
8: Select any Recycle Bin icon and select OK.
9: Finally, click Apply and then OK.
10: Right-click on the Recycle Bin icon and click Show more options.
11: Select the Pin to taskbar option in order to put recycle bin on the taskbar.
As you can see in the screenshot below the Recycle Bin icon is added to the Windows 11 taskbar.
